Call me deluded, but I'd have Defoe.

 

I think he's brilliant attacker and would be a steal for the money being talked about.

 

Another English player as well, I think it's a great idea.

Defoe is decent, but he's really hot or cold, and not fantastic by any means.

But he's honest and quick, he always puts a shift in, and that could save us injuries and fatigue to Suarez.

He can also score from outside the box, and sometimes we lack that ability to break down a static, deep defence at Anfield.

Insua has posted a message on Twitter saying he's not tweeting anymore until his future is resolved so something may be happening there. Looks like Poulsen has no intention of leaving.

 

We're not going to get much in terms of transfer fees for the likes of these and Jones, El Zhar, Degen etc but loaning them out might at least reduce the wage bill. Would like to see us get some loan deals for a lot of the reserves too, even though we have this NextGen competition to play in I'd rather see some of the younger players in the Championship.
