Something has happened, initially I thought the players knew Roy was leaving so were playing how they wanted to but judging by the way Roy is reacting on the bench I'd say he's still got a vested interest in this team.

I think It's just a case of Blackburn playing really deep and not attacking

us, the fact they've got a few key injuries probably hasn't helped their confidence.

Easily the best 45 mins of the season so far. We could easily be 3 or 4 goals up. We are doing the hard work, playing neat passes all the way up the pitch, then we let ourselves down with a woeful last ball. their keeper has had a blinder as well.

If we keep playing like this we shouldnt have any probs, i just hope they dont nick a goal.

Our best performance of the season by a country mile so far. I'd love to see Cole a bit further out left so we could really stretch them all across the pitch. Having loads of joy down the right.

It has been more a case of attacking from midfield. Torres hasn't had many chances but the team have had plenty.

We are actually playing decent football, maxi, gerrard and lucas all playing well and showing decent movement. I would take cole off for N'gog to give torres some more support.

Gerrard still dropping far too deep at times, but we've been a hell of a lot better. A win is a must against this lot.
