He's a good, clever footballer. He lacks pace, but he has a good understanding with Torres. I think it would be a mistake to sell him, unless they plan on getting a top replacement in. Amoo as backup to Kuyt on the right wing is a nightmare though.

I'd be gutted if we lost him as he's clearly a good footballer and lord knows we haven't got too many of them in the squad at the moment. Gerrard and Torres seem to enjoy playing with him as well so hopefully it's bollocks.

I love Maxi, but in all honesty, he only had about 2-3 good games last season, and they weren't exactly what I would deem world class.

He should be kept, he is excellent in possession and improved our ball retention greatly last season, he is better then kuyt,jovanovic and babel, I would be disapointed to see him go.
