All with an steadfast commitment to team and everything that means, a great understanding of the game and limited physical attributes - none of which have anything in common with Balotelli.

Football has always been about combinations, contrasts, and about two sides, it is a vital part of the equation.

When we play City, the first player who we wil check to see if he is playing for them is Balotelli.

At Anfield we have a rich history of appreciating opposition players, who you choose to appreciate is a matter of taste.

The first player I will check to see is Hart, then Silva, then Yaya. I would prefer to see Balotelli do his funny thing with the bib - or maybe a cute hat during warmups.

Sheesh, I almost forgot about the last part - thanks for the memories.

I saw that as well. Someone even applauds at the end of the clip as well. Kudos.

Balotelli always reminds me of Ryan Babel.

Both odd balls, but at opposite ends of the spectrum.

Babel shitting his pants at the sight of Spongebob Squarepants smoking, Balotelli organizing an indoor fireworks display.

Loveable characters, both of them.
