I'm only off to boxing tonight arnt it. Gonna be hot in there tonight. Only went and got myself a road bike the other as week didn't I. Decent this cycling lark mixed in with boxing. Bloody starving all the time though.

If you're really hungry, you need to eat. Just have the right thing, with complex carbs, and that will help you.

Ye I've been eat wholewheat pasta with tuna, lean mince etc. Started having porridge for breakfast as well.

Good stuff, mate. Porridge is the stuff of legends.

Oh mate - I've been chopping up a banana in there and other fruit - it's absolutely gorgeous and just pure fuel for workouts and long bike rides!

I too have been converted to porridge eating in the last few months. Although, I'm not convinced its warm weather fuel.

Are you a microwave porridge maker?

I have discovered this is the ultimate way of using up old bananas. Chopped into the porridge before cooking and it purees it almost to a syrup. No need for any additional sweetening. Wonderful stuff

Nah I do it on the hob in a pan. Got a little system going. Get up and put it on the stove on the lowest heat and then jump in the shower. By the time am finished its cooked perfect.

Fair enough...but the baked banana is definitely worth trying

I've converted to a microwave upon your previous comments. Works really well. I'll hive the bananas a go, too.

I was at home with my daughter Thursday night and weighed myself Friday morning before getting in the shower. My girl always wants a go so she went in and was 2st 9.

I then weighed us together and I was astonished to see that I've tipped the scales higher in the last 12 months than we did combined.

13.12 not 13.9, bit pissed off when I realised the error on the conversion website but happy anyway.

Fuck off, fatty.
