That face!

I bet he can get away with murder because nobody could stay angry at him.

TBH that was a couple months ago - he is 9 months old now.

Here he is now after getting a good talking to.

Big week for him.

Chewed through a 4 way audio snake, buried one of the wife's dress shoes, went into the backyard pond 3 out pf the last 5 days and topped it off by eating my daughters Invisalign retainer.

Ive recently split up with my bird, which I’m ok with as it’s been coming for a while, only thing is she’s taken the dog, which we both agreed as it’s really hers that I bought for her as a pup over 2 years ago and she will really look after him and I wouldn’t be able to because of all the different long shifts I do.

Hard to say but I’m proper gutted about the dog, can’t even look at any photos of him.

They get to you mate. Our little pug got attacked by two other dogs a year ago, at one point I thought they were going to kill her and the very thought nearly destroyed me.

Sorry for your loss mate, I know the dogs fine with your ex, but it hurts.

Must be rough that mate. As CS mentions, at least you know he’s happy and you’ve done what you think is right by him by putting first above your own feelings.

Sorry to hear this mate it must be awful for you. C S and Belarus are spot on. You have put your dog first despite how it makes you feel, so hats off to you.

A mate of mine's girlfriend had a dog with her ex, when they split they took joint custody of the dog. It works really well and gives them someone to rely on when they go on holiday, etc too. Clearly it depends on the relationship with your ex but it strikes me as a good solution. I'd be devastated without our little knobhead!

That’s tough to take Mike, gutted for you.

Me and my ex are both up for joint custody of ours but it’s not possible for them to be at my current place, so they live with her indefinitely and I just have to see them when I can. Thankfully she’s sound as fuck, so I’m welcome to go and see them whenever, whether she’s there or not. Has inevitably had its awkward moments, but it’s worked well for the most part.

The lockdowns were horrendous though. I couldn’t see them for months on end, then my older one had cancer and I couldn’t spend any time with her outside the vet’s car park when it looked like we were going to lose her. That was bleak.

Totally get how you’re feeling with that mate. As others have said, fair play for putting your dog first.

Alright - good looking dog.

Oliver is a golden retriever - poodle mix. It must be easy to mix in poodle cuz there seem to be a few of them.

Great mix that. Will he get fairly big then do you reckon?
