Thoughts On Tony Mowbray ?

Recommended Posts

I don´t rate him. Haven´t seen much of WBA games so I can not judge the way thet play.

I just know how badly he handed our Slovakian LB Marek Cech. He was bought from FC Porto last summer and expected to be first choice. But he did not really got a chance of playing. Started just in 3 league games through the whole season.

And the biggest disappointment was that TM preferred Paul Robinson!!!! as a LB. In my view Robinson is the worst Premiership player ever.

Cech is an experienced international, a goalscoring attacking defender with Champions League experiences and did not get a chance bar promises.

Mowbray without a doubt put his favourite player over club.

Strange appointment. Didnt make any impression on the premiership at all. And i wouldnt like to have a manager who sacrifices winning to play attractive football, though i didnt see much attractive football from WBA last season.

Tony Mowbray - a man who looks like he's been dragged away by the ear from playing in the streets with his mates, given a bath in front of the fire, then a haircut, before getting dressed for church. However, and here's the sneaky bit: Does he actually go to church? No. He sidles off down a sidestreet, climbs over a wall and goes and sits on the bench from where he manages a football team. His mother doesn't even know.
