  1. He did exactly the same to me for no reasons. So much that i want to swear at him.
  2. Out of nowhere, Mata's name is mentioned by Torres, isn't it ironic? Silva and Villa have been linked to us, but Mata... He has a great potential in him, am I right? A low profile figure in Valencia still making his way up. Please correct me if i am wrong. But I think we have a problem... We would need to spend more wages for Spanish-English teachers .. Or Pepe's going to be exhausted.. P.S: Thanks for the people who have been increasing my reputation. Appreciate it. Best Regards.
  3. here i just got this from another web: Google Translate Albiol's official to Madrid.
  4. delicious. I am going to hate ESPN if this causes Rafa to come out AGAIN saying that his transfer targets should not be publicized like the one with Silva's. It's out in goal.com/en
  5. I smell that Silva's deal to liverpool seems vivid. I have only heard third hand stories but it smells good somehow.. anyone else feeling the same?
  6. I would agree. Please can we stop boo-ing this lad? I thought if there is a club that support the team in and out, it will be us, Liverpool FC, because we have the best fan base in the world. He came out of those criticism and fought his way up, my respect for that, and never he said he wanted to leave, because he and the whole team believe, that he could live up his potential. Give him some time! Gerrard blooms not at the age of 22, we all know that!
  7. no mate, portsmouth is dealing with sulaiman...here is a source.. Sheikh takes 60% stake in Premier League club - The National Newspaper by the way, pardon me for my little text speak earlier..They were accidental.
  8. this is interesting.. i read somewhere that if a club is not a PLC one or a 'leading' premier league club, it could have been related to the above.. anyway, here's a list: Arsenal- PLC, leading Aston Villa- PLC, could be seen as 'leading', no indications it is for sale Birmingham- PLC, not leading Blackburn- PLC, not leading Bolton- PLC, not leading Burnley- PLC, not leading Chelsea- Private, leading, no indications it is for sale Everton- plc, could be seen as 'leading' Fulham- Private, not leading hull- PLC, not leading Liverpool- Private, leading, indications it could be for sale Man City- Private, not leading, no indications it is for sale Man United- Private, leading, no indications it is for sale Portsmouth- PLC, not leading, under negotiation Stoke- PLC, not leading Sunderland- Private, not leading, just taken over Tottenham- PLC, could be considered as leading, West ham- PLC, not leading, is for sale Wigan- PLC, not leading, Wolves- PLC, not leading, and it can't be portsmouth Sheikh takes 60% stake in Premier League club - The National Newspaper n i ve found sth over the net that they claim it's everton..source.. Nil Satis Nisi Optimum: Forums / The Everton Forum / Could this be us ? that aside this would rather be US than them. just my little' two cents.
  9. Do you have a slightest clue on how 'The Benitez' could have successfully courted Bojan to move from Barcelona to LFC? I have a good guess that he could be the next alternative striker to Torres which then tempted him to switch sides. Any takers? But still no matter how good he is, he don't seem fit to work as a lone striker like how Torres could.
  10. @Troubadour EXCLUSIVE: I'm staying... and this time we'll win the title, vows Liverpool striker Fernando Torres | Mail Online It states there, Mach ain't likely to leave. " But what about the prospect of losing Javier Mascherano? TORRES: Javier loves it at Liverpool - that is all I can tell you. In the summer people like to make a lot of noises about world-class players - and Javier is a worldclass player. He has said himself that he is very happy at Anfield and there is no reason for him to want to leave. "
  11. Changes in the Anfield boardroom, and bootroom – LFC News | Liverpool FC | Anfield Online There goes the latest news. (Details of parry's role being open for grabs) What irks me, "David Moores sold his controlling stake in Liverpool FC to Tom Hicks and George Gillett Jnr for around £85 million back in January 2007 after being convinced that they were ideal as ‘custodians’ of the club. Whilst Moores did have a vote on the board, he had no significant influence." HOW??

  13. "Gomez also dismissed reports that winger David Silva had become indispensable to the club, when he indicated that “no one is transferable or intransferable” and admitted that the board will “listen to all offers that are made”." source: Fernando Gomez: Valencia Not Satisfied With Offers For David Villa - Goal.com
  14. Have you considered the fact that torres and villa combination is proven in their national team? They have xavi and iniesta, while we have gerrard and xabi. Tactically, a 4-4-2 preference could be developed, but leaving macherano on the bench or even when either xabi/masch/gerrard got injured, it will still work out fine. A 40m on the bench? nah.. It could just be the key to our title coup, if you remembered that gerrard/torres injuries play a big part in us missing points last season. But again, it would depend on our spending power.
  15. im not as fortunate as u peeps -who are born in britain n speak good lingo - just good enough to support lfc since i was a kid.
  16. Let me correct point one for u. i was just copy pasting the exact line that guy wrote. jj:17 June 2009 20:45 from what i've been hearing in the press in canada, where i just returned, claimed that gillet just sold the montreal canadians (his hockey club), which is one of the biggest team there, basically the equivalent of united there but in hockey terms'. and so it is believed that liverpool's financial state is turning around. and if people think that 17 mil is a big sum of money, then they should take into account the account payable of 7mil at portsmouth owed to liverpool. and the revenue that liverpool could earn by selling dossena n arbeloa, both at £6m and £8m respectively. and that said aside, it could still be realistic to say that benitez has not spent a penny despite the 17m bid for johnson' n simon made similar concl.. http://www.liverpoolway.co.uk/forum/ff-football-forum/80358-i-knows-its-big-if-but-would-you.html
  17. here: finally compiled what i wanted to say after finally gathering 15 posts so that i could post links instead of getting lots of bad reps for my direct points without proper sources/quotations.. gotta agree with u simon on this one. smells fishy yet good. http://www.liverpoolway.co.uk/forum/1768065-post5785.html
  18. Premier League: Villa on future | Setanta it says there 'Really I do not want to say more because this subject does not depend totally on me." . 1. n down at the comments someone said 'jj:17 June 2009 20:45 from i bin hearing in the press in canada wer i just returned from gillet just sold the montreal canadians which r 1 of the biggest hockey teams ther, basically the equivalent of united here but obv hockey. so its believed lpools situation is turning around. and wen u say 17 mill is too high for johnson u shud take into account that pompey still owe lpool 7 mill for crouch and lpool r expected 2 sell dossena 4 £6m and arbeloa 4 £8m so in theory benetez hasnt spent a penny yet " 2. Heard somewhere too that if villa leaves la liga, he wants to go to EPL, n tht team will be liverpool due to their spanish contigents. David Villa hints at Anfield move | Liverpool - Times Online but i aint sure if the source itself is credible. 3. Torres wants villa. with international games ongoing, one knows how the spanish contigents could affect those 2. Fernando Torres Wants David Villa At Liverpool - Goal.com or Torres Wants Villa And Silva At Liverpool - A soccer article (involves silva) like a u'll be welcomed to anfield plea. 4. abroad TEAMS (outside spain) have entered the war for villa. could be manure or manc, but the first one has could be later than the announcement as they're prolly still finalising ronaldo's n yet having an ordeal with tevez to handle. while villa has no chance of going manc, or even chelsea, we know tht. []Fernando Gomez: Valencia Not Satisfied With Offers For David Villa - Goal.com ++ "Gomez also dismissed reports that winger David Silva had become indispensable to the club, when he indicated that “no one is transferable or intransferable” and admitted that the board will “listen to all offers that are made”." ++ n here i quoted from rafa. Liverpool’s link with David Villa is revealed | Give Me Football “If we are going to look for someone we will not announce it to everyone. We will try and do it properly and secretly. “We have got a very good relationship with Valencia but things have to be done in the right way.” it raises my eyebrow for a bit..why are we linked with so many players, with so many $$ involved. then i see point number 1 and IF it's true, then it makes sense.n i hope its true. oh i love surprises.. + cant be better said by simon @ http://www.liverpoolway.co.uk/forum/ff-football-forum/80358-i-knows-its-big-if-but-would-you.html 'it's still a BIG IF' correct me if im wrong. just my 2cents.
  19. a good chance if the yanks sold their asset @ canada.
