I think the ideal Uefa draw is quite easy to work out.

 

1. They most want to avoid an all-English final

The only way of doing that is to stick all 4 English sides in 1 half of the draw.

That is a possibility but is a little too obvious.

 

A better way to put the 3 strongest in 1 bracket & put the weakest (Arse) is the other & give them as hard a run as possible.

 

2. That leaves us,Chav & Mancs with 2 to meet & the other to await in the SF

i) The only pairing that hasn't met recently in the CL is us/Mancs

ii) Us/Mancs is up there with Barca/RM as globally the biggest match-up in football

iii) We've just had the 4-1 so lots of possible sub-plots

 

So its us/Mancs with Chavs playing ?? in our half of the draw

 

3. Barca are the most attractive non-English side so stick them in the other half & give them the easiest draw

Now that is Porto or Villareal. All domestic games are less attractive

So its Barca/Porto with Arse/?? in their half.

 

Barca/Porto paired with Arse/?? & us/Mancs paired with Chavs/??

 

The ?? they are undecided. BM & Villareal could go into either bracket.

Would love to see Man U get Chelsea next round. They'll kick the shit out of each other and be exhausted. Good for our title hopes and gets one of them out of the CL.

 

The winner can take on Barca in the next round. and we'll have Barca in the final if we get through.

Good but I don't think Barca have any yard dogs to kick lumps out of Manure or Chelsea.
