Famous People Who Are 'Probably' Cunts

I think a lot of stand up 'comics' are probably twats. You'd have to be seriously conceited to get the balls to do it in the first place.

I disagree, I'd love to have a go at it, but lack the balls at the moment. But I can at least envisage getting the confidence to give it a go, and have seen some amateur acts, and it is not the profession that many walk into confident. Pretty much everyone shits their pants for a few years before honing their style.

Ian Prowse put something on Facebook a while back, saying that he turned up at a gig; he's an Amsterdam fan and a sound bloke, apparently.

Turned up at the gig & then promptly bummed several innocent children more like it.

I used to knock around in those circles, was less interested in stand up than in writing it, but by and large there were some monumental egos even at amateur level. People would get a couple of laughs at the frog and bucket and think they were Richard Pryor, while the 'old heads' who'd done it a while acted like they owned the place. Being around people who are constantly trying to 'out funny' each other in every day conversation is genuinely exhausting too.

Some of the behind the scenes stuff from classic Saturday night live is a real eye opener, proper fist fights and all sorts.
