Scargill and the Teamsters.

I was a Teamster.

Local 91.

I used to get a Teamster magazine mailed to me from the International Union and in the back they listed Teamster organizers/union bosses who had ran afoul of the law.

It was ace as they all had Italian names, the vast majority were from New Jersey, Philadelphia or NYC and it was always 'Franco Taccadelli, of Local 432, Hoboken, NJ has pleaded no contest to associating with a known member of the Cosa Nostra. Or Giovanni Spezzaraddi, of Philadelphia Local 356, has pleaded no contest to misuse of union funds and associating with known associates involoved in rackateering through the Cosa Nostra.

owen and fowler would have been the best strikeforce in europe form 1998-2002 if either of them could have stayed fit for a substantial period of time. unfortunately they hardly ever played together. i remember the 4-0 demolition of charlton on the last day of the treble season and thinking what could have been.

Definitely, they were awesome together that day and showed a real understanding of each other's game.

It wasn't the injuries that kept them apart though, it was Houllier's insistence on playing Heskey as he preferred having a big athletic striker up front. A lot of people said they couldn't have played together, but they were two of the most intelligent and talented strikers the English game has seen in a long time, and a way could and should have been found to partner them effectively. Robbie certainly thinks so, he mentioned it more than once in his book.

Fowler and solskear???

Aside from the fact one is a horrible manc cunt who id never want in a liverpool shirt, they are both finishers, and both are short on pace.

All the best partnerships have opposite qualities which make the partnership what it is. 2 out and out strikers, rarely works.

Big man/little man(toshack/keegan), pace workrate and finishing/vision passing (rush/dalglish)

Souness made plenty of mistakes as manager of liverpool one of which was turning down the chance to take cantona from auxerre. He would have been excellent alongside rush or fowler, shame he became one of my most hated footballers at them horrible shower of twats. :no

Actually Solskjaer was a huge Liverpool supporter before he signed for the Mancs and even a member of the Scandinavian Branch when he signed, but they threw him out.

Fowler and Batistuta for me.
