Little bit surprised Unai Emery hasn't been linked , not that I'm looking at him personally , reckon he'll get a top job done day though. I don't include Arsenal of ten years ago in that equation either

Absolute no brainer. Xabi, all day.

Only other one i’d consider would be De Zerbi.

De- Zerbi might be ok after Xabi obviously , I wonder if Hansi Flick could do a job he was pretty good at Bayern

I’ve gone for Xabi.

It’ll be a bit of a risk on the basis that it’s bit early in his managerial career. But, did Dalglish or Guardiola have bags full of experience?

Plus, he’s worked under and likely picked up things from some top managers like Guardiola, Ancelotti and the coaches of the Spanish national team (Aragones, Del Bosque etc).

And he adopts good, attacking and counter pressing tactics.

And, I like a 3 at the back system.

Plus, it’s Xabi Alonso! He’s cool as fuck.

If not Xabi, I’d like Emery and Nagelsmann to be on the shortlist. De Zerbi would be an outside option too - but Brighton seem to win or get absolutely battered. No middle ground. Plus, he seems wedded to his risky play out from the back tactics.

Emery is a good manager if you want to win the Europa or qualify for the CL - how often do you see someone with that sort of CV build dominant, title and CL winning teams? It doesn’t tend to happen, and that’s why I’m hoping for Alonso, and would rather take a chance despite the fact that he is relatively unproven - he might have that combination of tactical nous and charisma seen in only a select few.

Replacing Klopp with a proven quantity who has found his level and whose level is just ‘really good’ isn’t going to get us anywhere fast unless we start spending like City. Even they had to wait for Guardiola to start winning year after year.

Reckon we will hear about Julian Nagelsmann bring linked aswell.

Not sure he's ready yet or ever will be but Thiago Motta is making a name for himself at Bologna

Xabi,Nagelsmann and then probably De Zerbi would be my shortlist with the later 2 miles behind.

I'm going Xabi, deZerbi worth a look, what about Thomas Frank?

I really like Thomas Frank as a manager but like Emry I dint think he's suited to the biggest clubs

We would have to give Alonso time as fans to implement his ideas etc. Arsenal fans have massive meltdowns over Arteta all the time going from him being the best young manager to being an idiot who has no clue. I don't think our matchday/non Twitter fans would get on his back like that.

I doubt someone like Zidane would be a good fit. He doesn't speak English and he'd probably leave after 2 years. Obviously he's a winner and has managed the biggest club in the world and won the CL a few times.

Strange poll this one, some weird/unrealistic options (Zidane? Guardiola?!) and some obvious runners not included at all (Frank, Inzaghi, Emery, Postecoglou).

Can't see Spurs allowing or Postecoglou walking out on them. Thomas Frank is a good coach but he's not good enough.

Emery,see Postecoglou.
