3-1, Nunez, Salah, Gakpo late on.

Kelleher

Tsimikas

VVD

Konate

Trent

Gravenberch

Endo

Szobozlai

Diaz (though I'd like to see Gakpo start on the left)

Nunez

Salah

I reckon it will be Gakpo on the left, and probably Jones ahead of Gravenberch.

Only thing preventing me putting him there is that he's our only other central striker so Klopp might prefer to have an option from the bench.

There are rumours that Quansah starts which would be odd with the game on Thursday that he can play in.

Don't see why re quansah , I reckon he's ready and probably our no2 centre half

It's still just a rumour so may not happen but my doubt isn't about this game, or his ability, it's looking towards the next group of fixtures.

VVD and Konate are our best pairing, so if Quansah played today would he also play Thursday and if he doesn't play Thursday you're potentially risking Konate in a dead rubber game against Union just before Utd.

If I had to split the playing time then it would be Konate against Palace, Utd and Arsenal, with Quansah getting Union, West Ham and maybe Burnley.

I'd be trying to avoid overloading Konate too much and giving him 1 game a week over the Christmas period.

Nothing to stop Quansah playing today and Thursday.

Wow, Alli back, I was well out.

I hope we're not taking a chance with him.

As an aside, it's mightily irksome when people spell Ali with a double L.  There is a footballer, of sorts, called Alli, and his name belongs nowhere near our Brazilian superman.
