City have really only shown real weakness when Rodri is unavailable. The Chelsea game is the first time when he was there where they got rocked. And that was an away game against a team with some very talented players, granted they don't perform great as a team very often.

 

If we beat them, it would be a monumental upset. And even then, that we're still liable to drop points to a team like Luton, means we couldn't really make a sweeping judgement about our title chances, even if we did win this one.

City have shown no more or less weakness than us this season, hence why there's only a point between us. As city have won 22 home games on the run, expecting a win is a bit daft. But it would hardly be a monumental upset that the team currently 2nd in the league could go to the team who's 1st and win. The bookies have is at 3/1, which seems about right to me.

I would be extremely surprised if we beat them. 

 

But in any case, people put too much importance on these big matchups. We play very few games per season against such top level opposition, especially this season. What it will say about the team; not very much.
