Shocked that all City players that pulled out of the internationals turned out to be fit.

Not sure on Tsimikas starting to be honest. Thought Gomez might start. Hopefully a better showing for Mac Callister than after the last international 12:30 kick off

I would be extremely surprised if we beat them.

But in any case, people put too much importance on these big matchups. We play very few games per season against such top level opposition, especially this season. What it will say about the team; not very much.

Well obviously the result is important, because while we don't play them very often, it's an opportunity to take points off them, even if the game is just a draw. Considering we've lost the league to them by a point more than once and iirc, we always lost at their place, a win can clearly make a difference, in fact the draw would make a difference. We've obviously got to back that up in other games. That is the test if winning the league, having the ability and character to win in all kinds of ways in all kinds.of places. So of course today matters. Today we don't find out much about the abilities of both sides, as we already know both sides are full of talent. But we might get to see if we're a mentally more prepared team than we've looked since last season.

Gutted I won’t be watching this as I’ve got my elderly mum staying with me, she has Parkinson’s and is hard work, bless her. Mr Suzy has broken his arm and can’t drive so it’s a nightmare. Anyway, my sister who lives 2 hours away is coming to take her out to lunch today and some shops if she wants to.

So… we are going out ourselves for a quiet lunch! Did consider just watching the match in peace but we’re hardly leaving the house at the moment!

Back to the match - I’d love it if we smashed them but will be happy with a score draw!

I think I'd be finding myself somewhere to eat with the football on!

I can take losing today if thats the case. I hope we win and I think we've got a good shot but if it doesn't work out it is what it is.

What I don't want are referee/VAR shenanigans.

That might really piss me off.

That cunt Rodri will get away with murder all game - but watch Jones or Mac get cards for fuck all in comparison.
