That's a fucking horrible result right now. Maybe it will be decent in the long run, but giving away goals and points like that isn't acceptable.

Decent result under the circumstances, that being we were poor, defensively we're awful. I'd take a top 4 finish now, we're way off a title challenge.

Abysmal performance. The lethargic attitude from the start and looking completely void of ideas anywhere on the pitch. Too many hints of last season. Top 4 will be a battle.

Two points thrown away here. This is why we can't challenge for the title. We have to be smarter and much more aggressive in our defensive actions. Robertson was horrendous there. So poor hence me saying we need to be more aggressive.

Only positive is we only played for about 15 mins of that game and should have won 3 2. Imagine how good we will be when we actually start well and play over a whole game.

I'm sorry, but we went into that match fearing a side that has been drubbed several times this season already, and one coming off a six-goal hammering from Villa. That was as pathetic a performance as possible.

Really poor from Klopp.  Terrible set up to begin with and awful in game management.  He just never reacts quick enough when the game turns. It’s on a knife edge and they’re running at us with Trent starting to fall asleep.  He just waits and waits and waits and then it’s too late.  Concede a free kick down that side and goal.  We could defend the free kick better obviously but when you’re getting an onslaught like that it’s eventually going to happen.  So deflating.

We really should have killed them off when we were 2-1 up, but then probably lucky to get a point.

 

A bullshit decision for free kick that led to their goal though.

 

We are ropey as fuck with leaving space at back - we really need to sort that out - Robbo is clueless at times when defending around the centre and the problems exist still on other side.

 

2 games without a win and that today at times was properly ropey - but it also felt like we should have put them away, but we faded badly and probably got away with taking a point.

 

I hate not winning before these breaks.

 

Have to wait 2 weeks now for the international shite to end and of course wait to see who survives it in one piece - followed of course by having yet again the shite 1230 slot against the shite.

Probably a fair result overall. Both sides scored from gifts and missed the chances they actually created.

 

Robertson though, blows my mind a top pro can be so painfully one-footed. I'm surprised he trusts his right leg for walking on.

Feels like 2 points just thrown away. Gravenberch missed a sitter to finish the game off. Diaz should have done much better with the shot he hit wide as well. The last 20 minutes were awful at both ends and they were the team who looked more like winning it by the end. Brighton are a decent team and a draw there isn't the end of the world, but it really felt like we needed a win to get last week out of our system to avoid spending a long international break stewing over results.
