Over their last 5 games, they are the most inform side in the league apparently.

4 wins and a loss yes.

But look at the sides they have beaten in those 5 games.

Luton at home

Sheff Utd away

Brentford at home

Fulham away

Hardly a testing set of games....all won by the odd goal.

The loss - a 3-0 hammering from abu dhabi.

Also got hammered by Saudi Arabia and beaten in Europe during same period.

They are mediocre.

Not necessarily. United and Chelsea have spent stupid money and are both fucking crap. No guarantees.

The real impressive work they are doing that separates them from the likes of United and Chelsea is with Dan Ashworth and the team he's putting in place.

They've been busy recruiting staff at all levels and positions from clubs in the PL and abroad and implementing the positional scouting he did at Brighton.

It might not bring immediate results but in a few years....

They’re the form team in the division at the moment. On that basis they have to be considered a real threat to our top four chances as long as we continue to throw points away against the likes of Brighton and Luton.

So, you're saying if we drop points and they don't, they'll challenge us?

Thanks for the insight.

Spurs with 2 shots on target all game. Against wolves. You're getting found out you aussie twat.

Was missing 3 of his first choice back four which is fair enough, they might mot be as solid at the back, but for a fella who said his teams would "give it a go even if they have 5 men" then why did his team have only 2 shots on target against Wolves when they were only missing 1 of their first choice front 6?

Also, he was mising his attacking midfielder so he could have brought in a similar player in Bentancour to replace Maddison, but no, big Ange played Hojberg, one of the most defensive midfielders in the league.

Not so easy to have a go is it, ya twonk.

Best of luck against Villa without Bissouma, Ange.

Spurs fans on the BBC text in asking why people want Spurs to lose/fail as it'll mean another season of City winning the league easily.....

Amazing how that feels when the shoes on the other foot ey?

They really believed you can win the league in October. I blame the London based journos hyping them up. There are way too many Spurs fans among them with delusions of grandeur.

When they actually win a game/some games. by more than the odd goal and against a decent team i might consider the mancs a bit of a threat - until then - no.

Their wins in league this season:

Luton 1-0

Fulham 1-0

Sheff Utd 2-1

Brentford 2-1

Burnley 1-0

Forest 3-2

Wolves 1-0

A collection of deep mediocrity and shite.

5 of the wins have been against the bottom 6.

The scored two late, late goals v Brentford to steal a win, and Wolves were robbed of a clear penalty st Old Trafford, on the opening weekend. They have just proved that they can beat lower table teams by the odd goal.

October, Hah! It was won in September just a few short years ago by a club who shall remain nameless.

Fuck sake. Drury's done it again. "Dare to look the champions in the eye"

I cant stand this fucking bloke. I'd actually rather have Tyler back than having to listen to Drury's shithouse hyperbole.

Drury is fucking dreadful. Doesn't help having Carragher alongside talking complete gibberish for 90 mins
