In honour of Woo’s (whatever happened to him?) “The Twitter” thread I’ve started a “The Threads” thread.  I’ve said the word threads more times there then at any point in my life. 
 

Anyway, we can’t get it in Ireland yet because Zuckerberg is a massive xenophobic anti-Irish cunt. But when we can, I’ll probably join, so is it just the same as Twitter in operation?

Never heard of Threads until two days ago and still don't really know what it is. I'm happy to keep it that way, I spend enough time scrolling through shite as it is.

Elon Musk spent $44 billion in 2022 to buy Twitter and fired most of the company. A lot has happened since then, to say the least. Now Twitter is threatening to sue Meta for supposedly hiring employees that Musk fired and building a competitive platform.
