Elliot has some pace and moves the ball quickly. He can't do it all on his own, though.

He gets pushed off the ball way to easily. He's a kid who needs to ease his way into a strong and settled side, not galvanise a team in disarray.

I think it does. He's probably the most desirable manager in world football apart from Guardiola. And he puts up with a situation where his bosses give him a relative pittance to spend.

Ah, right. So he should have quit then, and you, I take it, would have cheered him for doing so. When there are two options, you want the third. Brilliant.

Our prep was wrong. After last season, I think a gentler preseason and a more pragmatic approach was what was needed. Klopps last season in Germany has very similar vibe. A load of injuries and players who were exhausted from years of busting their bollix. The owners need to get their chequebook out too. We needed middle reinforcements before the injuries as theyre all injury prone. To have to go to old Trafford with an unfit hen, a 55 year old milner and a kid in elliot is a disgrace. Guardiola would never have been put in that position

No,  he should have demanded what he's worth. As Conte did at notoriously tight Spurs.

There's just a complete lack of imagination. For example, we have a throw-in coach, and the most improved thrower, apparently, is Gomez, and he has a long throw. So worth trying a long throw, you'd think, rather than Trent's over-hit crosses once in a while. But no. They just keep doing the same things that aren't working, like some bizarro version of City.

I don't know how we can dominate a game like that and still look like shit. VAR, it now appears, is a part of the modern game that can be left to an official's discretion. When is offside not offside? When everybody's favourite illiiterate has just scored. Fuck it! Long way to go and a lot of improvement necessary.

Looks like the forum bitches are on heat again.
