£100 million and not one eyelid batted. That's the difference between City and the rest of the league. Fucking joke

Or is it difference with dominant teams Fergie did all the time but they did not skip a beat because of the quality round them and they just kept breaking transfer records same with the oil cheats

Fucking hell, Mourinho in next? AVB?

Or will they go for a non-Portuguese Manager for a change?

It'll be one of Amorim (Sporting, having a ropey start to the season like we are), Conceicao (Porto, having to sell a lot of players to raise money) or Fonseca (Lille, but was in contention for the blooshite at one point) probably.

Dont worry, Newcastle will be along in the next 5 years to make it competitive again. Then when the Qatarii's dump PSG and buy Leeds, the league will be even more competitive.

The thing that gets my goat with this is that even when city were looking invincible there was always the conviction that we could do something against them and stop them winning everything. The lack of investment has knocked that in the head now and even Klopp can only do so much.

Oh well, I’m lucky that I’ve seen enough triumphs in my lifetime, it’s just a shame that we were unable to capitalise on this outstanding team and manager. I fuck hate ‘if only’s.

I'm past giving a shit now.

There's literally no point wasting your emotional energy on a sport that has become state owned playthings.

Klopp has done an incredible job but we simply cannot complete with stingy owners against infinite wealth and nor can anyone else.

I think the way to beat City is to stop the supply to Haaland.

Obviously easier said than done of course. Haaland offers nothing at all until the ball gets around the box. He’s not like Suarez or Kane or somebody who drop deep and get involved and will look to create something out of nothing.

Today he had the least touches of anybody on the pitch before he scored, then he scored another 3 mins later and got a cracking assist 5 mins after that.

I’m sure there is a way to isolate Haaland and make the game 11 v 10 in our favour.

Veron yes but for all their duds they still got Vidic,Evra ,Berbatov,Van Persie etc and kept their dominance in face of Arsenal/

Chelsea

I was replying to the statement that they just kept breaking transfer records. They really didn't as shown by the list you just wrote.

Vidic and Evra were some of the shrewdest transfers in recent history. Van Persie won them the league and it cost them 20 mil.
