People think a good match is one that has lots of goal mouth action. It isn't. If that were the case the American MLS would be the best league in the world.

He really, really needs telling how to deal with a forward standing in front of him. He doesn't seem to think he's got any rights at all as a keeper, even though most just fall over or shove the player away. Mind you, this ref would've sent him off for anything other than supine submission.

It’s the whole England captain thing. There’s no way Son would have stayed on the pitch if he’d done the same, or any of our strikers. We should call them out on it.

Late in the game there, Kane was bursting thru, but was obviously offside right in front of the assistant referee. The assistant left his flag down and allowed play to continue all the way to the goal line when Kane crossed the ball and the attack broke  down - and THEN, finally, the assistant raised his flag for offside on Kane. WTF? I just got the feeling that if the ball had gone in from Kane’s pass and a goal given, we’d have gone thru a whole bunch of bullshit with VAR. when all the official had to do was IMMEDIATELY flag Kane offside at the point of the initial pass. WTF is going on with today’s officiating?
