Any Old Port (1929)

Great shout , Love that film

Hard Times (used to be called The Streetfighter )...With Charles Bronson set in the depression, with one of the best opening scenes in any movie not just boxing ones and a scene that's been imitated many times from Troy to Jason Bourne

Great film and Bronson even though he's 54 looks in great shape and the kind of old fella you wouldn't want to mess with in a boozer

Great thread.

Couldn't pick between 'Somebody up here likes me.' or 'Cinderella man'.

Went for 'somebody up here likes me.' in the end because it really took me by surprise - it just came on one night and I loved it. I thought Newman wasn't ace in it - even though he is fucking awesome.

Cinderella Man is amazing too. Love the scenes at the docks.
