Yep. Quicker just to boil the things though and there's not a massive amount of difference anyway (I have children who won't eat a baked potato unless it's mashed up. Pricks).

See above, you need to expand yer horizons a bit bud, peel yer spuds, and give it a bit of Blumenthal with yer bean based experimentation, he never got where he is today by refusing to empty a can of Heinz most famous in a bolognese, no sir.

I think it's fair to say that your bastard ma was the exception rather than the rule.

Chips and roasties, you're frying them in hot oil, leaving the skin on would fuck them up.

 

I cooked a corned beef bolognese when I was at Uni and skint. At no point did I ever resort to putting beans in one. I've no idea why you ever would do.
