I really don't know if I can be arsed getting up to watch this (a 3am Australian time kick off) Congratulations Brendan. You have achieved what my parents, teachers, bosses, various girlfriends and wives failed to do over the last 60 years, You have robbed me of my passion and my belief.

I hope the people who don't value the Europa League don't bother tuning in tonight. It's so shit, right? Here's what else is on tonight from 6pm:

Eggheads - BBC 2

The Simpsons - Channel 4

Home and Away - 5

Jeremy Kyle Show - ITV 2

Heartbeat - ITV 3

Scrapheap Challenge - Dave

Sink the Bismark - Film Four

Sink the Bismarck sounds good.

Game is on mid-day here, so fortunately working.

Or unfortunately ? not sure.

I don't have access to BT sport so that's a tad unfair. I'll have to make do with radio.

Whilst I value the competition, I do not value the time I waste watching us attempt to play. I fucking love this club, but recently the stress of watching us lose due to the total ineptitude of the "manager" has forced my hand. Honestly, watching painfully dull romantic movies with the off chance of getting nookie during or after is a far better use of my time.

The missus has decided not to watch The Notebook. Instead, we'll watch The Vow, starring Rachel McAdams.

It paints a picture of love which has been lost, then found, after a tragic event. Emma Dibdin from Total Film gave the film a three stars rating out of five, commenting, "there’s an essential sweetness at work here, thanks partly to McAdams and partly to an unusually chaste love story that ultimately keeps melodrama at bay."
