Didnt take long for the Dutch to call him out. Interesting read actually, as it’s exactly the same things many on here has been pointing out for years. (Put it through Google translate)

Willem van Hanegem has spoken out about Jordan Henderson's services for Ajax so far. The Englishman made his debut for the Amsterdam team against PSV (1-1), but did not stand out very much at De Kromme, he says in the Willem & Wessel Podcast. - Advertisement - "Should I, like everyone else on television, say that he is so good before I have seen him play?" Van Hanegem wonders. "He's just a very mediocre player. That's all it is. What he showed against PSV wasn't that special, was it?" De Kromme hereby agrees with Valentijn Driessen, who was previously also critical of the veteran's actions. Driessen was extremely critical of the midfielder. "Yes, he ran his mouth, played the traffic policeman and clapped his hands, but for what or who actually? He showed no initiative on the ball, played to the right color, but more backward than forward and once over the halfway line the new number 6 did not see any options ahead. And that in the Eredivisie, although against PSV, but not at the level of the Premier League. What poverty.

that's about the long and short of it.  Apart from the panicking under pressure.

They quoted Willem in the first line so it could be a Feyenoord fan writing, but I do think Eredivisie is his level now, a couple of hard games a year but the rest bossing it against shite

Except Ajax isn’t doing much bossing against anyone this season. Neither is Henderson, he seems to be running around pointing and doing backwards passes. Which sounds familiar.

Just be grateful the saudis took him off our hands and gave us a few quid for him and it helped lead to an overhaul of our midfield.

He was a good servant of our club, but the decline had well and truly set in and he was way below the level we needed now.

Van der Vaart on Henderson (0 wins in 4 games):

"Ajax have brought in players with zero quality. The club will now have to see out the rest of the season.

"They have brought in Jordan Henderson. All he does is to play a little pass out wide, or a little pass back. But nobody will be happy with that."

I think many people on this site were indeed happy with that!

At the time when we Reds were celebrating another magnificent victory and watching our majestic captain lead us to our first trophy of the season, disgraced money grabber Jordy Hendershot was an unused sub in Ajax's 2-0 humiliation away at AZ.

Oh well.

We don't know the whole story. I wish the lad would shut the fuck up, he's embarrassing himself.

I never held a grudge against him until the interview he gave when he blamed everyone but himself.

"No one knows the whole story" is the typical bullshit lots of footballers have used in the past and to hide behind their own incapability, I see this as no different. I don't give a monkeys whether he plays for a club in Saudi or Holland but if he was referring to us there then he must have balls to say it publicly. Anything related to us will most likely be bullshit anyway. If he was referring to Saudi about others not knowing the whole story, then again have the balls to say it publicly, he is not even in Saudi anymore.

Hey y'all, I know a lot, you don't know everything is fucking bullshit. Especially coming from footballers.
