If you tell people that they cannot get rid of freedom of movement then UKIP will use it as leveradge and it will not change anything.

The posturing from Germany and France at the moment is that we can't have access to the single market without freedom of movement.

That may change of course.

I doubt it mate, if they bow down to the UK they will be self harming as far as the EU project goes. I reckon when they say there will be no cherry picking they mean it 100%.

Ordinary people arent interested in the economy at the end of the day. You can tell them the countries economy will nose dive but it wont mean shit all to them.

All this talk about germany saying this and france saying that isnt going to pacify them it is going to strengthen thier resolve.

This talk that you are getting now from germany france and the eu is another reason people have voted out. People are listening to this and are not happy with the fact other nations or other nations elected leaders are dictating to them.

I'm not so sure. We are a massive market for them and as such they would not want to exclude us completely - it would shock an already sensitive Euro. Norway and Switzerland both have freedom of movement, but the EU knows our politicians are somewhat tied by the referendum.

Despite the current chest banging, there will be an agreement of some description. Inevitably we will have to accept some form of immigration, but I don't think it will be 100% free movement.

Might be an idea to tell them that the price of their shopping will likely go up along with the chance of them losing their job.

There are another 25 members on top of Germany and France, I doubt any deal will be done that favours the UK if they want the Union to stick together. The trade the big boys get off other counties in total outweighs the UK.

As you say, they won't exclude the UK completely, but I doubt very much they will budge on the freedom of movement.

Yeah its going to be interesting that's for sure.

Merkel stated to the German Parliament that we can't have access without Freedom of Movement. Our referendum is essentially about immigration. One will have to give.

If I were a betting man my money would be on Germany. We'll probably end up with a points system that awards a lot of points for Europeans coming to a job, or infact getting a job once they are here. That would prevent Europeans claiming benefits which would placate a lot of leave voters.

I'm probably wrong though. We'll see.

Hilarious.  Stitched up by Gove of all people.  Either that or the pair of them have pulled off one of the biggest bait and switch moves I can remember.

David Pannick QC reckons that it will need Parliament to activate Article 50, it can't be done by the PM under prerogative.

It'll need to get through both houses, I'm sure the leave mob won't mind it going through the entirely democratically accountable House of Lords.

There was an email leaked yesterday saying that Murdoch and Dacre don't like Boris.

That'll be why he's not running for PM.

I had a sneaky feeling that cunt Johnson wouldn't run, he is shit scared of activating article 50 and being in charge of a country in turmoil without a clue what to do. He stitched himself up if anything as he was hoping remain would win and he could sneak into office off the back of that.

Boris has just shown what an utter fucking coward and no mark he is.

Will article 50 ever be triggered, like many I reckon a lot of the Tories are working on a way they can renege on the referendum, they may as well as they have reneged on every other aspect and yet a lot of those who voted leave are still happy on the way they voted. Those who voted purely on immigration will also be pissed off, the UK will have to accept freedom of movement if they want to stay in the single market.

Boris has already said that there'll be no staying in the single market.

So Johnson has been Dacre and Murdoch's useful idiot.

Chose to support Leave, even though his heart wasn't in it. Unexpectedly fucked the country over by playing games. And now won't be standing for the job he thought he was a shoe-in for because Gove's wife has stitched him up.

Stupid, stupid cunt.  And everyone else gets to suffer the consequences of his actions.

What Johnson wants is for Cameron to stay put and do the fucking job he has been elected to do. Lead the country out of the EU. The people have spoken. Its Cameron who's the coward. He should forget his personal baggage and lead.
