Talking about other teams players......

We'd rather sign 20 year olds for £20 million that may or may not turn out good than risk signing established players. Then the club act flabbergasted when these 20 year olds that have never achieved anything in the game can't keep pace with the likes of City and Chelsea for the title.

Although occasionally it does work in our favour, just think of yourself as an Inter fan watching Coutinho play for us, you'd be livid with Mazzarri for that sale, or Chelsea last season watching Sturridge score non stop, we do make some fantastic signings every now and then.

Him, Tadic, Schneiderlin, Wanyama, Clyne and Forster actually.

You forgot Jay Rodriguez.

This club will get everything it deserves, fuck all. Our scouts should be going to fucking prison, nevermind being sacked.

It's just such a shame, and a scandal, that the owners and the manager have built such a fortress around them as to not be 'bothered' by the opinions of the man on the street. John Henry should be made more than aware of all this but he won't, because he won't read every Tweet, his secretary will filter out all non-corporate emails and bin them, and the same goes for Rodgers.

What do we know? We've only been following football for decades and have access to football in multiple leagues.

Great signings. Quality fringe players from the biggest clubs should definitely be our market more than it has been. I believe the hit rate would be far better than youngsters, and sometimes older players, who haven't played more than a few seasons in a quality league. I assume the FSG wage doesn't interest these types.

Chadli at spurs is decent. Gets goals from midfield as well which we could do with more of. Only Stevie regularly gets a goal and thats mainly down to set pieces.

Defoe looks like going to QPR in January..... I'd take a punt on him. Always thought he was a cracking goalscorer and if we are chasing 4th place we could do worse than bringing him in for the 2nd half of the season.
