Stumbled across The Emily Atack Show the other night. Thought it was shite. I got more entertainment out of trying to work out where I'd seen her before. Then I remembered. She doesn't seem to be aging well.

Same, I stumbled across this one night too. Absolutely woeful. It was so bad it was almost worth watching just to marvel at how bad it was

The second comment on this is better than the entire show put together. Shockingly bad.

I've just checked ITV2 to see if Family Guy was on. It wasn't. Celebrity Juice was on and she was one of the guests. She's on the TV conveyer belt now which she'll be on for a minimum of a year.

She got popular after I'm a Celebrity and probably got a tv contract and now they  don't know what to do with her , a bit like that Mel and Sue when Bake off went to C4.

She seems a nice kid but the show is toe-curlingly unfunny.

If she had a decent team of writers and ditched that terrible 'observational' stand up with canned laughter, she'd probably do OK, she's a more than decent comedic actress. As it is, I get the impression she wrote a lot of it herself when she should have stuck to the acting. There's one scene with a group of women in a pub, one of them's whinging about her ex and the Emily Atack character wants to get a table, gets bored and charges over to get one. That's literally it, there's just nothing relatable or funny about the situation- a vapid and self-obsessed girl wants to have a sit down. Anyway, it's currently scoring 2.8 on IMDB so she'll be sticking to the comedy quiz show circuit from now on as Dougie says.

Hell on Wheels. 8.5/10. Great show this, blasted through five seasons in a couple of weeks. Great cast, Colm Meaney is brilliant as slippery railroad man Thomas Durrant trying to get his rail across the country.

Red Oaks. Short series set in the 80's at a private holiday club. Funny in places and just an easy watch, special mention for the girl that plays Misty as she is lovely. Also a milfy and unrecognisable Baby out of Dirty Dancing as the main characters mum. 7 boychicks out of 10.

Glad you enjoyed hell on wheels, I liked it, even though I thought it went a bit mental by the end. And spot on, Colm meaney (or at least his character) was great. An old fashioned badie.

Just finished the latest season of Fargo. If you don't watch it you will have missed nothing.

I watched the first two seasons of that and enjoyed them. I think I started the third and could not get into it at all. Sounds like it has got worse.

It's a mystery how some great show get dropped (Hannibal for example) and dross like Fargo gets extended runs until it hits a brick wall.
