Times reporting that Walcott could well be sold this week following a refusal to sign an extension. I think he'd thrive here as a wide forward, would much rather him than Dempsey even if he costs nearly double.

 

I would much rather have Walcott than the Chelsea lad, as he has shown that he is improving and learning about the game. Having said that, I'd rather have a fully formed goal scoring attacker than either of them.

The fee reported seems way to low for me pretty sure Atletico paid around 40 million euros for him.

I genuinely think that Walcott could do a Bale and realise the potential that he showed at 17. No guarantees obviously but he could still turn out to be a top top talent.
