When did they sign Harrison from Leeds?!

Anyway, over in Shelbyville they’re crowing about how him, McNeil coming back and this lad from Serie A for over £25m, means the goals they need to stay up.

I’d gotten myself into starting to believe again but am worried this lad target man’s a dozen or so in.

Someone please tell me he’s absolutely cack - Beto from Udinese, €30m - god knows where they’ve got that cash from.

Harrison has the unique distinction of having been on the books of Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City and Everton.

He was here when he was six years old for a year. He then went to the Man United academy until his family moved to the US when he was 14. He was with City for 3 years on his return to England, but never made an appearance for them. He spent the 3 years there, on loan at Leeds, until they bought him outright in 2021.

Harrison was supposed to be going to Villa, but got injured.  The blueshite bought him in, on loan I think anyway

How often do transfers from Serie A to the Premier League work out these days?  Salah might be the last really good one.

I don't know much about Beto, but I do know that anyone good enough to have options would have better options than Everton, and this lad didn't.  Also, of course, playing Dyche-ball would mean the poor fucker will have to do all the attacking on his own, because nobody else is creating anything.

A couple more.

From my experience refereeing kids, when a lad is an absolute specimen but can't make the starting 11, it means they're a donkey. Udinese and Everton represent the subs, so does the price tag. Having seen no more of him that those 3 clips I'm calling it now, he'll score less than Dwight McNeil but more than Maupay.

I’ll be honest, I think it’s ace and sing it regularly.

Me too, I sing it loads, it's catchy as fuck.

Granted, if they were any good I'd probably hate it, but they aren't so I sing it all the time. I'm even singing it now after reading your post.

from slapping the money on the table for Rodriguez to asking the question for a loan option for an unwanted player they can’t afford to bid out right for.

Everytime they get close to living the dream they slip back down like a shite board game from hell.
