Myself and two mates will be getting the ferry from Belfast to Birkenhead on Thursday morning at 10.30am and arriving into Birkenhead at 6.30pm on Thursday night.

 

What is the easiest way for us to get into the city centre, bearing in mind I will want to watch the match at 8pm?

 

How much is a taxi likely to cost?

Your best bet is probably to get the train from Hamilton Square, its only about ten minutes from there to Liverpool Central. Trains from there are very frequent as well, so you should be sound for getting there in time.

Aye get to Hamilton Square. Tis the strangest place I've ever stepped foot in. Seems everyone around there has some sort of deformity, an immense amount of wheelchairs and crutches. Scals going round in shitty Lacoste trackies and that, looks like you've just stepped back to 10 years ago.

Yeah, about £2.60 i think.

Cheers again. Just had a quick check on merseyrail and the train leaves every 5 minutes and only lasts 9 minutes so there will be plenty of time!

come out of the ferry terminal.turn left to a roundabout,turn left at roundabout ,walk about 600yds to a junction,turn right at the lights and hamilton square is 100yds up on your right.
