They'd have to come out and admit that they made false promises, put us in a seriously bad position, but that they're now genuinely in love with the club and want to see everything put right. Then they'd have to put it all right.

What is the least you would like from them? And I don't mean leave, or die, or anything like that. What can they do whilst still being here to save their arses?

They can never redeem themselves, because of the broken promises. They may well do great things commercially and increase our profit and revenue, but the motives arent to do that to help us, they are simply to ensure that the price of the club rises. So long as were top 4 i dont think they really care (Though of course winning no 19 would also help raise the profile and value of 'the brand').

 

Whoever takes us over, is likely to keep the existing debt in place and who knows, may even put more debt onto us, so it's unlikely that new owners will be much better, even if they are super wealthy. But of course, at least if they are honest about it, maybe they will get a little slack.

 

The worst thing about it all and a warning, is that Moores and Parry could have achieved all the good things G&T have done, without putting us 250m in the red. Indeed, had MOores and Parry been a little smarter, they could easily have sunk 100m into the playing side and with the better commercial activity we'd be far stronger both on and off the pitch.

 

Lets no forget, Moores and Parry were/are REDS, they support us, so if even our own can be so inept and poor, perhaps we need to just get rid of this lot then not worry about teh lot after, so long as they dont lie to us.

It could but it would be unlikely. He could pay off the 250 mdebt and bung the owners 50m, but as I understand these things, its far more liekly, if he paid 300m, 250m of that would actually be taking on the debt we already have, making him liable for it. In effect, that 300m price, would see 50m go to the owner(s).
