  1. I have no idea what Kenny's thinking other than he feels tremendous pride in the job he's doing and is massively grateful he's had the chance to do it. Neither of those things means he thinks he's the best person to take us forward or he thinks he can help the club best by being the manager. you have the raving loons on here saying give it to Kenny everybody else can fuck off Its down to the man himself and whether he thinks he's the best man for the job. He said not to take the job would have been letting the fans down but the bloke has to genuinely believe he is the best man for the job to take it forward in the summer, they are totally different things. Only he knows how hard he's finding the job, whether he's confident with the ideas and training methods, managing the ego's of millionaire primadonnas etc. To me he looks like he's never been happier but I dont know whats going on inside the lads mind. The fans are putting massive pressure on him to carry on, he knows the faith and trust they have in him, its going to be tough on him to say give it to somebody else even if he thought it was for the best but I trust the bloke totally to do what he thinks is right, I think he's the best man right now to lead the club forward, but only he knows if he believes he is. They can't appoint anybody without getting Kenny's approval anybody else's position would be untenable without Kenny giving them the nod. But if Kenny did say let somebody else do it then what happens - were do those saying everybody else can fuck off go then? We'd need to get behind that man and not be constantly looking back at Kenny, comparing the two and making the new lads position impossible.
  2. So what if Kenny actually preferred for it to be somebody else next season? What if he thought it was for the best?
  3. Would Samba qualify as a 'ball playing CB who's dominant in the air?
  4. inter toto doesn't exist it got binned when they revamped the europa cup
  5. maybe you should just think harder - you're half way there - all these professional managers see something in him that you dont - is it likely they are wrong or you are..........pause.... think.......think a bit more.... pause - push through the pain.......still not there yet - those people who watch him regularly (as in a couple of hours every day not 90 minutes every fortnight) keep picking him despite what you think is obvious...........go on you can do it make the connection ........
  6. The idea is that the club pays for itself - instead of 50 million going in interest payments every year its spent on the club and the team Moores didn't spend any of his own money, neither have Hicks and Gillet -the club just becomes a non profit organisation ploughing whatever money it makes back in to the club - the club can still take out loans but what it should never do is take out the size of loans the current owners have Once the club is fan owned - and it only has to be 51% fan owned so nowhere near the numbers bandied about - 50 mil would do it then the money the club makes is put back into the club and if the fans own 51% - then big business can own the other 49% and bring their commercial and financial expertise to the party The Arsenal directors have not paid for their new stadium the club has The fans would not run the club on a day to day basis they would employ professionals to do that - but fans would sit on the board and would determine policy - just as they do at Barca, benfica, bayern munich and real madrid - taking advice and guidance from the experts Fan ownership can happene provided we all believe in it and want it to happen
  7. bonkers stuff Flanagan is short, not that pacey and for me overly aggressive and needs to improve his positional play - he's also not been tested at any level other than the stiffs which is not a great level - dont think he's been capped internationally either (depends how clicky that set uo is I guess) - he has looked enthusiastic and energetic and committed a bit like any scouse lad given the chance would but I bit ott to predict he WILL make it imho - hope he does - just dont think the odds are good currently. Did he have a brother at the club? Robinson looks a bit special has done for a while - its the maturity and composure on the ball that strikes me - looks effortless - doesn't always make the right decision but I think that can be learned Do they share a birthday or have I screwed my notes up?
  8. Don't listen lad the poll is fine and its pretty straight forward would you accept relegation if it got rid of the yanks? you can interpret that question whatever way you like mine would be 'would you accept relegation to get the club into the right hands' and the answer is 100% yes those scared of what the blue noses or mancs might say - who gives a fuck? with our club in the right hands we would piss all over them, twice on sunday.
  9. Am I missing something The clubs just paid off its manager between 3 ans 6 million despite not having a pot to piss in and presumably its going to cost just as much to get rid of the backroom team. We're up for sale so any new manager would sensibly only be offered a short contract incase the new owners want to select their own man The managers just gone because he was told he could not have the money he raised through player sales We have no transfer budget and can't even afford a £2million young scottish defender We are just about to sell 3 of our 4 world class players Whoever comes in has to work with twit and twat Whoever comes in will be vetted by twit and twat And you are trying to discuss who would be a sensible appoitment Sounds like we need a spineless, clueless fuckwit who has incredible motivational powers - sounds like matin o'neill apart from the motivational powers
  10. but thats where fan ownership comes in - if its made clear any other owners will not be welcome , their profits will be restricted etc, if the fans are the only people they can sell to the price has to come down first get the price down to a realistic current valuation - 300 mil which should mean its sold as a going concern top players and all - any lower and its a fire sale then work out what type of debt the club itself could support based on turnover and still have money to invest in players thats 100 million which we'd work to get down and would be loaned against the worth of the club a 30% mortgage if you like then work out how much investment would be required to ensure a majority fan holding 149 million but with right for a stadium build and share of profit probably that means the fans themselves would need to raise about 50 million not 500 million - bearing in mind the two leeches bought the club with fuck all I know its all a pipe dream - it needs investors, still needs 50 mil from us , needs the fans to act as one but it wouldn't need 500 mil or even close so fan ownership could work, the maths could work but it would need incredible leadership and a hell of a lot of guts and faith from us because everybody and his dog would be telling us it can't work and a million reasons why
  11. Sorry if i'm stating the bleedin obvious but fan ownership works at three of the biggest clubs in the world - barcelona, real madrid and bayern munich are all 'fan owned' its not a question of can - its a question of how to make it work here at bayern they have CEO's from many of Germany's leading corporations on their board - the club is something like 80% owned by fans and 20% owned by big firms like adidas at Barcelona they have an elected president its not a question of each fan votes on Player a or picks the team - the fans empower a board of professionals to do their job - they elect their leaders, agree policies - and those people are answerable to the fans for their decisions - it would be up to us what powers they have -how often they are elected etc. the worrying thing on here is three years on from share liverpool kicking off at least 75% of fans have no clue what its about - they have seriously failed to get their message out and its because they aimed it at middle class 5K punters instead of normal fans - and I'm appalled they haven't tried to build with the union and instead want to carry on pissing in the wind on their own - the only way this works - the only chance we have is to get together - - be bigger than all the small minded politics and get rid of the two bastards who own us good news the union are moving forward disgusted they couldn't work together
  12. Can't really argue well enough against most of your points - but for me the march would be to show reds that there are enough numbers to make a match day protest work - to feel good about ourselves - to give us the courage to take it to the next step - of itself very hard to argue that it would impact the owners but its more about what it can do for us its like the european atmosphere at anfield - ok it can cause some opposition to bottle it but by far the most important thing is what it does to our players - makes them feel 10 foot tall and invincible - this march could give enough people hope that we can make a difference - it could be the tipping point - when your average Joe turns round and says you know what fuck 'em we can do this, a show of red strength that Shanks would smile at
  13. buy them two spain shirts they'll love it especially if they win the world cup or you buy them brazil shirts or fake reds shirts or retro shirts or you take them the pictures or a million other things you tell them why because at 7 and 9 they'll think its boss to have insider knowledge - just tell them you can't buy the shirts because the money goes to people who dont care for the club and who'll take that money for themselves not for LFC you promise to buy them Liverpool shirts when the club is back in our hands and you promise to take them the game when it is it aint hard it really isn't, if you dont want it to be - the alternative is you get them the shirts and they get called scabs for supporting the two leeches by the itk kids in the street the 'dont boycott' idea is a difficult one - it could force the sale of players - but so could their lack of investment when players opt to walk anyway - it could put off prospective buyers but wouldn't they be buyers we wouldn't want anyway? at the moment we lose a million a week - something has to give - If the two unscrupulous gets thought selling the players could make them a few quid I'm sure they would have done it already wouldn't they? The leaks to the press suggest they already want to but dare not, why is that - what would they be afraid of?
  14. understand your point and to be honest I have a lot of sympathy for the season ticket holders - they are scared about the consequences of not renewing - but buying the ticket and attending the game aren't the same ideally the union should be offering to record who refuses to renew and making sure the new owners recognise their rights but I doubt that will happen or be enough of an assurance. the boycott would only work if enough got behind it - but to get enough behind it it has to be easier/more fashionable than just burying your head and pretending the best thing to do is get behind the team thats why the march should be targetting raising awareness amongst the fans, more than getting rid of the two leeches - a show of red strength if you like - the worry is obviously if its not well attended credibiity is screwed which is one of the reasons SOS have avoided it to date I think it needs a purpose/focus - marching for marchings sake isn't likley to work and I'd agree without SOS support not sure what it could accomplish
  15. Don't think its about Hicks and Gillet giving a fuck - we already know they dont Its about us giving a fuck - its about us sticking together - its about enough people getting together to say you know what you robbin bastards we are on to your game, we dont believe your lies and we are prepared to do something about it, you aren't welcome here. It depressing to read the 'there's nothing we can do' bollocks - we can do plenty there are just too many who aren't prepared to do anything - without fans the club is nothing - and its not just gate money or shirts its sponsorship, tv money everything - you really think Sky want to show an empty stadium or the premier league - and yes I know there is no game but this is about showing what could happen if the fuckers dont leave july 4th, no WC game the media will be wanting stuff to cover could be good timing whats the price of Liverpool with no fans - sure as hell its not £800 million you'd have to ban standard chartered shirts though - be like wearing a Norwich scarf over a new united shirt think the march would need a point though - it'd need something at the end of it - even if it were a band or a speech or a picnic but something
  16. one big worry is that Hicks does make some money available - we buy a decent player and it buys him more time, just like tax cuts before a election - he'll buy off a load of disgruntled fans who'll bury their heads back in the sand instead of campaigning to get rid of the two leeches - we'll then find out that its yet more borrowed money and in 12 months time we are even more crippled by debt
  17. i dont know who's worse Moores or the fuckwits on here - who beat their chests and call him stupid bleedin names - of course he needs to justify himself who teh hell wouldn't - believe him dont believe him it does not matter - we are where we bleedin are and it aint going to change whatever fuck up he made - and its was a real cluster fuck - there is sod all that calling him names does about it - the problem is the two cancers at the club the article is about the two tumours - the fact that they should sell now- thats what you fellow retards should be angry about not David bleedin Moores the club is valued at about 300 million, the debts are 350 million - the leeches want 500+ we are in a bad place but not as bad a place as the two gets want to put us - thats what we need to fight to protect against and dont give me there is nothing we can do - yes there is we, that's me, you and everybody else have to pressure the banks, the premier league, the government, every part time casual fan to get on the case and make life so uncomfortable for these two parasites that they leave now, not next year, not after the summer now - with a reasonable offer not a long drawn out bollocks we've seen hicks do in the states we need to make the souless clowns want to go not hang on in the hope of a fat cheque thats were the focus should be not the pissing contest of slagging off Moores
  18. change the thread title to rafa found on the moon or gerrard ate my hamster and you'd get more replies though
  19. so season ticket holders are either clueless or selfish pricks? one way for this to work would be to notify the union - then upon a change one of the conditions would be for them to be given back - likewise any tickets bought after such and such a date would not be recognised - yep I know its a long way off - it needs support and it needs numbers but its not beyond some clever people to work out a way to make it work and the majority of liverpool supporters are not season ticket holders, the majority of liverpool supporters dont even go to the match - there are allegedly 3 million liverpool supporters in the UK alone - and no more than 150,000 would attend a game in any given season even in spend if yer average season ticket holder spends £700 than 25,000 would spend 17.5 million if every liverpool fan bought a mug/scarf that'd be £21 million - its all about the numbers for the leeches - the idea that a boycott wouldn't work is bogus - what it is is too hard - too many supporters are too comfortable, too ignorant or just dont care we need to wake them up, make them think and get rid of the two parasites after that and only after that is it worth thinking about changing the manager Do you think any manager the two leeches appoint is going to stand up to them? They'll do exactly what their told , when their told - they'll go down the route of justifying everything because of debt - despite the fact the debt is the two bastards debt and not the clubs Any talk of replacing the manager misses the whole fucking point - forget justifying yourself, forget the bollocks of the two things are mutually exclusive they are fucking not - the leeches go then we can rebuild everything else is a distraction it plays straight into the two cowboys hands -it would be building on sand - they want people discussing left backs, managers, seasons everything but the fact those two are taking 1 million from the club every week
  20. So if benitez goes - we bring in a manager who gets along with the two tumours? who'll sell our best players because he's told to without a peep? Do we bring in a manager who'll be here until the club is sold and the new owners get their own man in? the two roaches wanted to appoint Klinsman ffs
  21. What even when the manager actually seems to be one of the few people prepared to take the owners on? He's called them out more than once - as early as Athens - he knows just like we do that we are fucked with them two in charge and he's tried to make it clear to everybody - you believe he's making excuses - I dont - I think working with those two bastards must be completely demotivating - working for someone who's fucking you over every day aint going to bring the best out of you is it - Much better to sign a manager happy to work with the two leeches? Someone who can allow the fans to bury their heads in the sand and pretend everything is ok The manager, the players and the fans all need to have one priority getting rid of the two parasites in charge - forget how brilliant you think you are at analysing a manager, a left back or a season - the two bastards in charge are what is rotting this club from the inside - they are a cancer eating away at everything - ignoring that or deflecting attention anywhere else is doing their work for them - once they have gone and we have the owners we hopefully deserve - then we can re-build until then its building on sand - its pointless I'm fed up arguing with nomarks who want to know if I'm pro rafa , or if torres is leaving - the answer always is I want the owners out I dont care about anything else until they are gone its not my club its theirs and they can go fuck themselves before I give them a penny
  22. I've had a few sherberts and am angrier than normal so TLW seems a decent place to post I think I'd accept us getting relegated if it got rid of the two bastards in charge - am I on me own thinking that or is that acceptable like?
