Regarding Obama, the sheer level of vitriol and invective that has been chucked his way since he gained office has been far in excess of any previous president (outwith that from the left at the previous warmongering economic incompetent incumbent).

 

The political set-up of the states is hugely encumbered by the not only the actual legislature (filibustering, veto’s, gerrymandering etc.) but also the political landscape which is like some playground mudslinging contest of misinformation. This means that Obamas initial reach across the aisle when he was elected was universally ignored by the Republicans, as even those who wanted to work with him had the vicious attack dogs of Fox News and the syndicated radio shows ensuring they didn’t reach out their hand in response.

 

A lot of Democrats are irritated that Obama didn’t act on his own accord during this period (given his gigantic electoral mandate) but forget that the guy inherited an absolute mess of an economy (a significant proportion of which was caused by the previous administrations lack of financial control).

 

Then the Tea Party came along to represent all those people who feel their entitled vestiges of power are being removed by those of a browner epithelial persuasion. They have been backed by Super Pacs and others to help lurch the republicans even further right to a point where the Democrats are talked about as the left, while to European eyes they look distinctly centre right.

 

If the political process in the UK is disengaging, the states (even with its showbiz razzmatazz) it’s even more disheartening. The fact Obama and congress will now sit there for the remainder of his presidency and do basically the square root of fuck all shows how broken their system is.

This post is laughable.

 

1) Obama has had more protection and insulation from the media than any person in world history.  The idea that the media has attacked him is straight laughable and shows how little you know on the subject. 

2) Obama never made a good faith reach across the aisle.  Never has, never will. 

3) Blaming Fox News for any of his downfalls lacks of any real credibility or ideas.  Fox News is the only conservative news organization.  EVERY SINGLE other one in the US is extremely liberal.  That's CNN, NBC, CBS, MSNBC.  All so overtyly liberal is plain as day, and they don't hide it.  It should then surprise you that more people watch Fox News than all those combined.  They're just Obama puppet mouthpieces.

4) Obama did act on his own on his own agenda.  People conveniently forget that Democrats had the presidency, senate, and hosue for at least 2 years of his presidency.  They have only lost the House and now the Senate because their policies were all failures. 

5) Election results are not mandates to rule, but if he did get a mandate to rule then it was given more to him than any President in history.  He was given a ONE TRILLION DOLLAR STIMULUS to invest in companies he thought would move America forward, but most have since gone bankrupt.  He blew one trillion dollars on green companies and "progressive" agendas.  Fact.

6) Obama has left the economy in much worse shape than when he got here.  Unemployment has gone and stayed up and gas costs way more.  People also conveniently forget that Ronald Raegan inherited a terrible economy (one that was also burdended by liberal restrictions and big govt) from Jimmy Carter.  Yet he didn't sit around and bitch about it and blame others like Obama does, he got to work and fixed it.

7) You don't just pass laws for the sake of passing laws.  Some ideas are bad ones, like most of Obamas.  If the last election was his mandate to rule (supposed to be govern, but that's a whole other bullet point), has that mandate since been taken away by the last two overwhelming losses in the chambers? Does that then give Congress the mandate?

Yet you can't take a step back and see that maybe his party's candidates were absolutely trounced in an election is because the liberal, progressive, big government controlls all policies have all been failures......Disappointing really.

Read up a little about him. He's not nearly as intelligent as he makes it out or that you believe he is. And don't tell me yes he is cuz he graduated from Harvard because GW that you seem to enjoy ripping on went to Yale.

 

Also, after you finish off your felatio duty for him, look at what happened when other presidents were absolutely crushed in the midterms. They make changes, fire people, hire new people and generally reach across the aisle, just like again your whipping boy GW did. You can safely bet the mortgage that Obama will only double down on his liberal socialist policies rather than work across the aisle.

 

Lastly, if you did any reserach you would fine a quote along with last night's results rather damning for your retarded posts. Obama said just before the election that despite his name not being on the ballots, this was a vote on his policies. Well, they're bad policies and the Ds got hammered for them. 25 of the Ds that voted for socialist Obamacare have since been voted out of office.

I have had this argument about Detroit with Americans before.

They blame the left and the unions but not the massive corporations that took American jobs to Mexico,India,China etc so they could pay slave labourers to do the work to make extra profit.

Anyone that has work in factories and other plants knows they are not the job you would choose to take if you could choose but they offered living wage and full time work. Even if governments offered them tax exemptions to bring the jobs back the money saved on income support and the taxes made by having people spending money would surely make a difference
