Cheers lads, made me restore my faith in bitter fans and i'm glad they care about the reputation of our great city.

One of my mates (ex mate now) rang me up the other day going on about how it knocks him sick how everyone is making a massive fuss over hillsborough over something liverpool fans did to them selves, then he promptly started chanting murderers over and over again. I just hung up the phone on him. There is just no need, absolutely no need, some people are just disgusting.

Not shocked at all, great gesture.

Lets not turn this into a "wow, I now have respect" thing please.

Who are you to tell people how to think? You can't possibly argue that this is out of character for the current generation of Everton fans who I hadn't much respect for while they were singing songs about Gerrards family and hanging their "Justice for the 39" banners. So fuck off you condesending twat.

I'm not shocked that there are decent Everton fans. However, it makes a really fucking refreshing and surprising change for their voices to be heard above the usual din of the bitter mob. Fair fucking play to them.

It's been said time and time again, but hopefully some good could come of the anniversary in that we can all remember how closely the two sides stood during that time.

Indeed Chris to think of the levels it has sunk to now, it is sickening.

Has anybody got a picture of the scarves tied from Anfield to Goodison?

Damn, I had a picture of this years ago, someone on the YNWA forum posted it. Don't know what happened to it. It was hard work for that chap to get hold of it too. I'm sure someone else out there has an image of it.
