Two packs! Fuck me, you must have the metabolism of Wolverine.

Love Bacon me, wasn't too fussed on the American bacon in New York though, thin and crispy and a little bit salty for my refined tastes.

I made a huge sandwich with a pack of bacon and a fried egg. I liked it so much I had another. The packs aren't huge, 140g, which is 5oz. I suppose two is a bit much really, but it was damned tasty.

8, but they are thin rashers, not back bacon, streaky. Cracking bacon. No added water in sight. Fantastic fat you get of it, allowing you to fry the egg in it. Yum.

Mmmmmmmm....

No longer eat meat (am one of them pescetarian people everyone was moaning about in the veggie thread), but bacon would be my downfall were I to succumb.

bacon was absolutely 100% responsible for my transformation from gentle pescetarianism to the raging carnivore i am today.

It's better than a full English fry. It's what you get if you ask for a fry in Northern Ireland. It consists of bacon, egg, sausage, soda bread, potato bread, pancake, tomatoes and mushrooms. Also served with toast and tea or coffee. I would love one right now.

I think he was talking about that strip of composite pork meat thing you can get.

It tastes like bacon and crisps up nice, but it not quite the ticket when you need bacon. You know the stuff?

Pancake AND soda bread AND toast? Blikey.

The added water is what ballses up most bacon. It doesn't fry then, it just stews, and you end up with a soggy mess. That maple smoked bacon is ace, amazing flavour.

We had a bacon sarnie thread recently, no? Mmmmmmmm.

Might have to make a quiche lorraine.

I must have a look. I don't think I know what that stuff is.

Don't forget the potato bread. I think it's the tastiest thing in a fry. And I can't get it in a fry over here. Goddamn English fry!
