Absolute nonsense. It defo belongs in this thread.

"It's the sound of 5 men in a studio, on coke, not giving a fuck. There's no bass to it at all, don't know where that went. The songs are too long and the lyrics are shit and for every millisecond Liam is not singing, there's a guitar riff there in a Wayne's World style."

Im sure its not the only album made in a studio by a band off their heads on coke. Im quite aware that Noel doesnt like it. I do and which makes it in my opinion an underrated album. Nob.

Mudhoney - Tomorrow Hit Today.  Probably their best for Warners following the rubbish Piece of Cake and the okay My Brother the Cow.

Pond - Eponymous debut LP.  Been hammering this recently.  What a record!  The third LP "Rock Collection" is also excellent.  The middle one (The Practice of Joy Before Death) isn't as good as either.

The Thermals - The Body, The Blood, The Machine.  Only one duff track on this.

If were talking about underrated by famous bands The Velvet Undergrounds Loaded has to be up there, that's them at their peak. Biograph is an incredible record by Dylan and the best Stooges record is Raw Power although everyone goes on about Fun house. Trompe Le monde is a great record as well by the Pixies that seemed to be panned on release.
