I will not vote on this until I see what our starting line up is. If we sign the right couple of players, if we do not win it we will not be far away.

As I said on another thread I for the first time in years feel confident. Last year we started shit - again - and a lot of our main players struggled for form, that will not happen again.

Had to (gulp) vote no. My reasons are;

not convinced the yanks will give Benitez the cash he needs to buy the players needed to mount a serious challenge.

not convinced Benitez will play his best 11 every week subject to injuries, suspensions and loss of form ie he'll not get consistency on the pitch.

not convinced Benitez will be adventurous enough away from home ie he'll play one up top.

agree with all three points. the first point isn't 'that' much of a big deal the last two points are major.

No we won't. I would be more than happy (in the context of where we currently are, squad-wise) with a genuine title challenge and improved attacking football. We need to still be in the race come March, instead of out of it by the turn of the year. Obviously a trophy would be ace, too, but I'd settle for the above next season.

I've just nearly choked on my Sunday roast reading that Paul. If you dont think we will win then we are truly fucked up the ass.

Put it this way, if we do win it, it'll be the hardest earned of all our (what will then be) nineteen titles and certainly the greatest of Rafa's achievements - surpassing even his pipping of Barca and Real at Balenthia, as well as Istanbul.
