Anyone ever made a ploughman's lunch in crisp form? Could include ploughman's Mini Cheddars, cheese crisps, pickled onion Monster Munch, apple chips and the like. I don't think I'll do it as it's quite insane.

Saw these in the shop and thought they’d be horrible, but couldn’t resist giving them a go.

 

I was right, they were disgusting. Flavour of cardboard mixed with egg mixed with vomit. Quite moreish.

Opened these when the kids came after school.

I had one and they devoured the rest which surprised me because they were bloody horrible.

Yeah, they're rubbish them. The cheese and onion and ridged plain ones are quite nice though.

I got some of these the other day because they were cheap in Home & Bargain.

 

I thought they'd be like tomato ketchup crisps; they have the vinegary tomato bit alright but then you're waiting for a sweetness that never comes.

 

The missus rates them more highly than I do as she really likes vinegar.

These came from Home & Bargain. The crisps themselves would have been great salt & vinegar flavoured but you're right about these flavourwise.

At least the kids enjoyed them as they'd have gone in the bin otherwise.

They're available in our local Morrison's and ScotMid (basically the Co-Op), but not sure how widely they're available down south.

I’m not a fan of chicken flavoured crisps. The jalapeño and cheese ones are nice, though.

Walkers in my humble and correct opinion have retained their flavour though many of their counterparts have fallen, walkers have remained strong and for me are the best crisps around. I salute them!

They cut the inside of your mouth to ribbons like but lovely all the same.

Not the first recommendation I've seen for them. I always swerved those because I thought they had actual beef in them, but I just checked and it says suitable for veggies.

I disagree. The texture and taste of the Co-op onion rings is very good. Co-op’s crisps, with the exception of their version of Wotsits, are as nice as any of the branded stuff, in my opinion.

Seabrooks cheese & onion knocks all others out the park in my humble. Their cheese & chive, or plain salted are also very good.
