I want to slap every player. Disgraceful performance. Very few out there who deserve to wear the shirt. We are so far behind Arsenal and Villa in quality that it is frightening.

Villa? Who from the Villa squad makes our first XI? One player? Maybe two?

I understand it's a frustrating result, but "we are so far behind Villa in quality that it is frightening" is a laughable thing to say.

Really poor performance, but we’re missing Matip, Robertson, Mac Allister and Jota.

Our four attackers were all dreadful in their own way.

Honourable mention to Tsimikas and Endo today. Virgil and Konate were fine too and posed more of a goal threat than those who should.

Of course, another clutch save from Alisson.

Yeah that's a load of total bollocks. We beat Villa so how the fuck are we 'so far behind' them? Everyone is frustrated but don't talk utter shite. Internet cranks.

Our forwards are dog shit. Nunez brain-dead, Gakpo just meh, Diaz gone off the reservation, Mo pretty much a one trick pony now whose powderpuff shots are really starting to grind. Szobozlai though, wtf?? What has happened to him? He's Ben fucking dreadful for months now.

We have zero chance of winning the league and at this rate I'd say we'll finish way behind city.

We play like that against arsenal and we'll be on the wrong end of a hiding. At least they'll give us a bit of space to play in but if they're smart, and sit in, they'll do serious damage to us on the counter with Martin and saka.

As was said above, to have any chance to win the league, you need to be beating teams as bad as united, and they are bad with load of injuries, and Luton away too.

We'd all have taken where we are before the season, but now that we are here, we need to capitalise on chances to put distance and pressure on those around us.

An absolute kick in the bollix that was, and we're all going to bed angry.

Very fucking frustrating.

Like most people have said, its the tactics and setup of the side thats throttling the life out of some of these players.

we're not missing Robertson or MacAllister, and probably not Matip really.  I thought Gomez was bright again when he came on.

That was pure eyeAIDS. A horrible game to watch. We just never got going, never had the required tempo or guile to break down an equally awful United team who came for a draw, or to maybe grab a goal on the counter.

The back four did okay. Tsimikas was sound defensively but never really tried to get round the outside down the left.

The midfield were sloppy and the passing was miles off where it needed to be. Not difficult passes either. Simple, short passes. Either given away or to the receiving player in a way that slowed us down.

Endo was made to look like a crab again as the movement in front of him was absolutely shite.

Diaz tried but ran down blind alleys far too often. Salah was off the pace too. Looked out most dangerous player at times but was far too reluctant to run at his man and took the easy option of an inside pass far too often.

Núñez. Another performance that adds to my growing belief that he’s not going to be good enough to make it here. Didn’t do much. Poor touches. Particularly the one when Salah went close. Mo only got the chance as it bounced away from Núñez off his knee. I do think he’s being unfairly criticised for the bit when he stopped as he thought it was a penalty. You play to the whistle, but he’s never getting there to roll it into the empty net as Carragher suggested. Gakpo didn’t do much when he came on either. Apart from make the wrong decision and take on shots from ludicrous positions that he was never going to score from.

But, it’s the first dropped points at home. So, we shouldn’t be too harsh on them. I think it’s the fact that City dropped points yesterday and United’s form coming into the match that make the result feel a bit worse than it was.

We’re approaching January still in the title picture. The performances need to improve, but you’d have been happy at the start of the season if someone told you we’d be floating around the top of the table in late December.

Today’s result just makes the Arsenal game a little bit bigger. Onwards we go…

Try to watch them before you call it bollocks. A great collective with tough pressing and intelligent use of the ball. Reminds me of us when we were at our best in the 19/20 season.

Not beating Shite teams at home will cost us the league.

We definitely went into that over confident- hopefully we turn up against Arsenal next week the way we should have today

We had a 100% record at home before today mind....so 1 game dropped pts in at home is not a problem as it stands....

I would gladely trade our midfield and attack with theirs. Our attacking players have no football intelligence.
