Wataru Endo Welcome to Liverpool

Question is how much better can he get, is his improvement because he's getting better as a player overall or is it tactical familiarity and the fact he's settling in the team that is bringing him back to a level he was playing at Stuttgart.

With the age of our other midfielders are we a year or so away from him being left behind.

He was good yesterday, won it back numerous times. He would be an excellent option for a Ragnar Klavin role in midfield, solid and reliable but if he's needed regularly we're in trouble. I find myself in the awful position of agreeing with Jamie Redknapp, we're an Endo upgrade away from winning the league. Paulinha is probably enough.

He’s been very impressive recently and is becoming an important cog in the team.

How can that possibly be right? 0.3 pts per game without endo. There's no combination of games we've played in the league that equates to 0.3pts per game. And we have only played 18 games and not 25.  He can't have even played 16 matches. I think you've been had with that caption.

Has anyone physically seen Thiago for a few months? Not photographs (which can be faked), but actually seen him in person. I’m beginning to think Klopp has killed him and buried his body somewhere in Delamere Forest.

I prefer to think Klopp has finally sent him to the glue factory.

I’m glad he’s been given time and proving a few wrong.

I think it’s likely more difficult for Endo to come into our side and get up to speed rather than Gravenberch, Mac Allister or Szoboszlai - they are young lads, more impressionable, played in good nation and / or club sides, higher expectations and are used to playing at the higher tempo we play at.

These are the clubs Endo has spent his career…

…where as Brighton, Bayern or Leipzig will have quite a few elements similar to how we play, I’m sure Endo’s leaning curve will have to have been significantly steeper.

I still think he wants a touch too much at times but he’s definitely improving and is exceeding expectations.

Fair play to the lad, he's playing well now. We still need a top class DM but he's proving to be a very useful squad player.

he's playing better than any other DM in the prem - what the fuck do you want?

Someone better than Endo. He's hardly Makelele is he? Just accept it instead of obsessing over an average player.

sorry, but while he contributes to winning games the way he has, you're obsessing over trying to detract from his performances.  Can you name a player who could come in and improve on what we've seen recently?  I don't think he's a world beater, but I don't think we'll find someone markedly better than him.  The last half dozen performances would absolutely be comparable with Makelele.
