Bunch of shithouses. I'm actively starting to hate this team, and I haven't felt like that since the Evans era. Sure we've had worse teams in terms of ability and you can forgive that, but you can't forgive not giving a fuck and bringing humiliation on the people who pay your exorbitant wages. Major, major fucking root and branch squad gutting is needed, for attitude as well as ability.

The majority of them (still) have credit in the bank for me.  It is dwindling though...

You have to admire FSG's ability to manage expectations. We're treated like Leicester basically. A freak league win followed by aiming for 12th.

And here comes Oxlaide Chamberlain.

I think, to a great extent, our travails in 20/21 and this season have been psychological. Win the league and battle through to be top at Christmas in spite on an unprecedented injury crisis? No January reinforcements to share the load!

Almost win literally everything on offer after the players gave everything they had? Let’s operate effectively a one in, one out policy and expect them to go again.

Even if the investment is there for Bellingham, it’s hard to see him opting to play under such a regime when he could join any number of proper, ambitious football clubs in London or Manchester instead of one that invests a bit less than Aston Villa.
