Looks like a lot of our fans have jibbed it. That’s very unusual. They must be pissed off.

12 times this season they've had to see us capitulate on the road and they were all capitulation bar none. Wouldn't blame a single one if them, not suggesting you are.

Just a side note, it makes you wonder what last season took out of the players and staff? Mane has had a poor season aswell at Bayern maybe ageing squad missing out on the league by 1 point and losing a CL final that we dominated all within a week has pushed them over the edge.

There is definitely a mentality issue going on, of 'we were so close, now we're not even remotely near let's not bother' on top of the tiredness, mountain of injuries and lack of effective recruitment in midfield.

We won’t get top 4, not a chance, lucky to get 8th.  Defence and midfield need an overhaul and we don’t seem to know who our main strike force is. The inability to get anywhere near to putting a foot in is unforgivable. You don’t have to play well to beat us. Ah well, fuck em.

Based on what evidence?

Based on the inconsistency of Newcastle and Spurs, and our improved home form. Obviously, it’s a must win against the gunners, but we were robbed at the Emerates, and the team will want revenge. Arsenal aren’t City. They’re still fragile.

There's not much to learn from this game. We're a crap side that have been awful tactically this season and we have some players that have given up/can't play anymore. A team that plays well against us will almost automatically win.

Pretty much this.

I don't want us to get top 4. These shitbags don't deserve to play in the CL, and the owners certainly don't deserve the fucking cash, which they won't spend on players anyway.

Oh how I'll miss those European nights of getting fucking battered by Real Madrid again as Milner comes on with an eye patch and Trent meanders around the halfway line with a face like someone just shot his dog.

The thing about this today is it is not even a surprise - they are just miles better than us.

It was the 2nd best home side in league v one of the worst away sides....and a side a good 20 pts ahead of the other in table.

As for 4th...well we are likely to be 10 pts behind Tottenham come end of Monday....possibly 8 behind Newcastle and we will be behind one of Brentford or Brighton tonight.

Our next two games - Chelsea and Arsenal.....you wouldn't back us to get much from them.

Fuck it. I'm making paella tonight for the first time. That with a nice Rioja followed up by the AJ fight and a few Dead Man's Fingers with ice and lime. That set of useless cunts aren't ruining my Saturday.

Have you seen this set of gutless cunts play this season?

I’m starting to get sick off these shithouses now. I genuinely think that the falling short of the quadruple has just stripped every inch of fight out of them. If so, they just need to get over it and stop fucking sulking.

We’re set to finish below Brighton, Brentford and fucking Spurs (no disrespect to the first two)! There’s something deeply, deeply wrong.

It’s an artificial rivalry with City. But, it’s a rivalry all the same. One that you’d imagine that the players feel more than the fans. So, a lenient ref aside, that we only got one booking for Salah kicking the ball away says a lot about the level of fight out there today. In games like this, you want your players going toe to toe and kicking fuck out of the opposition. Like the likes of Souness, McMahon, Gerrard and Mascherano would’ve done.

There was fuck all of that fight on show today. Saying that, we couldn’t get near enough to City to tackle them. They totally outclassed us, particularly in the second half. Thank fuck Haaland was out!
