But the problem with Diaz, and it's also a problem with Jota, Nunez and Gakpo, is they just individually aren't at the level of our last front 3. So what we have now is a pick of 3 from 5, but all of them are worst options than the old 3.

Nunez can't be considered to replace Salahs goals and goals contributions. He's a threat he adds an extra dimension but he's the worst finisher since Stephen king. Fucking Ronnie Pickering shows more composure and until he shows that's improved in his game he's Djibril Cisse.

He is statistically one of the biggest goal threats in Europe. His xG and combined xG and xA is as good as it gets. So in theory, he should start scoring Salah numbers.

 

In practice, yeah, it's not currently good enough.
