Sausage and Mash - What do you have with yours?

Fried onions, gravy and peas. Maybe peppered cabbage too, that goes well.

Onion gravy is pretty great and probably my favourite thing. That said, fried onions is nice, though I’ve not had it since I lived at home. Beans is also nice. I wouldn’t grumble at peas. For me, a Cumberland ring and some onion gravy. Great.

I make hutspot more than normal mash, it's got carrots and onion in it.

Where's the option for 'parsley and eel sauce' AKA liquor. It's not my preferred choice by any stretch as I think it's pretty gross but East End of London it's the most common addition, allegedly.

I thought that was with pie and mash rather than sausage and mash. They chuck in a few jellied eels for good measure.
