Would anybody even notice if he never played for us again?

When the rumours started that he wouldn't sign a new contract, I just filed him away in the "will never play for us again" category.

I think he's eyeing getting fit enough to pass a medical elsewhere, and that's it.

At this stage the only good outcome would be getting some bit of a transfer fee for him.

Our only hope of that is someone takes him in Jan which i find unlikely - he'll end up going on a free in Summer or worse we will extend his deal.

Clearly an incredibly disappointing signing, but if he’s fit & on the bench for the rest of the season, he’s an option as the coaching staff look to manage player fatigue in busy periods. The season being one long busy period is what I actually mean, except for the Qatar thing.

I wonder if a lot of Keita's problems have been self inflicted by not living a healthy enough lifestyle unlike his fellow African players have done in recent years? It just seems ridiculous that he is either so injury prone or not dedicated enough to fight his way into a regular spot. Klopp seems to get on with most but Keita gives off vibes of Klopp not liking what he's doing or bad influences around him.

Watch Keita come back, be injury free and play like the player we thought we signed 5 years ago for the next 6 months.

That or be injured again and again and his career will end in a whimper.

I actually think him being back will help a little. He does do the press well.
