Everton donated £200k towards this, he needs £750k to get to America to try and help get him better.

They've got the money they needed now. Everton's donation was for the amount needed to hit the full target.

 

Fair play to them. They're still accepting donations though in case further treatment is needed due to complications.

 

Fuck blaming footballers being able to fund it though. Give it to him on the NHS instead of refurbishing the Houses of Parliament or building a poncey garden bridge in that there London.

Yeah saw this on the north east news tonight. Thought it was a magbificent gesture by the club if Im honest.

 

I wonder whether we'd have done similar if we'd been playing them?

 

They said the donation means the family have achieved their target but are carrying on fund raising.

well done to them, have to say they do a lot more community stuff than we do. sometimes we too quick to have a go at them. just think ronseal woodstain is £13.99 a tin at screwfix, thats over 14000 tins, bring woodison up nice that lot
