Liverpool FC players put themselves forward in incredible - yet rather bizarre - charity auction

Dreamt of watching Home Alone with Jordon Ibe or having Kolo Toure cook your food? Now it's a reality!

Curry with Danny Ings ? Kolo Toure personally cooking you an African meal in his own house?

Brazilian scran with Lucas Leiva , Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino? An evening with Jordon Ibe , Joe Gomez and Nathaniel Clyne watching Home Alone with live orchestral accompaniment?

This is, quite simply, the greatest charity auction of all time.

Liverpool FC auction has given Reds fans the opportunity to bid for more than a dozen unique prizes with money going towards the club’s charitable foundation.

#LFCFoundationDay will take place on December 13 at the Reds’ home gane with West Brom and all proceeds raised will go towards supporting community programmes.

The meal with Lucas, Coutinho and Firmino has already met its reserve price with the current highest bid at £1,000.

Other lots include dining with Emre Can and Dejan Lovren at Liverpool’s highest restaurant, Panoramic 34, a training session with Lucas Leiva and Martin Skrtel, and a golf day with James Milner.

Fans can bid to watch a match in Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana’s private box, or bid to play table tennis with Alberto Moreno and Joao Teixeira.

There’s also lunch for 25 people with Mamadou Sakho and “the ultimate gaming challenge” with Christian Benteke and Divock Origi.

An ultimate match day experience and dinner with Jurgen Klopp, for up to six people at either your own home or at the London Carriage Works restaurant, is being raffled with tickets starting at £5.

Andrea Cooper, head of the LFC Foundation, said: “We are delighted to be able to auction such unique prizes and are extremely grateful for the support of the first team.”

All money raised will support the Foundation’s community programmes, including its men’s health programme, military veterans programme, and football development programmes such as Respect 4 All, which provides sporting activity for young people and adults with severe physical and neurological impairments.

The auction is being held online at Charity Stars with bids ending on Saturday, December 13.

Coaching session with Achterberg, Mignolet and Bogdan, I'm tempted to put a bid in for that. Reckon I could end the day as Liverpools 1st choice keeper.

Don't think that's how it works, chev.  You're bidding for the right to do the coaching.  Smart business from the club in fairness.

People need to see the lighter side of life and enjoy this. It's brilliant and there's nothing cringeworthy about it.

Obviously, a round of golf with James Milner sounds dull as fuck, and an evening of listening to Ian Ayre's endless innuendos would be truly hideous, but the idea of it all is ace.

Personally, I love the idea of a game of table tennis with Moreno and teixera (which interestingly autocorrects to triceratops)
