Come on mate, for donkey's years players who are earmarked to play CB later in their careers have started out playing full-back and then moved inside, it's not like it's some crazy off-the-wall idea that BR has dreamed up out of nothing.

 

Also people are talking like we had Paulo fucking Maldini at LB last year.  We had Moreno who was almost universally condemned as being terrible and technically Enrique who I'm not even sure qualifies as a footballer any more.
