Was gonna get a another Wdtv live for my spare room until I seen these Android boxes on Amazon.

I'm now thinking the WDTV doesn't do enough. Has anyone had any experiences of these android boxes?

I got a Samsung Smart tv & am very impressed with it, streams from my NAS & has all the catch up tv on, (wd only has iplayer). Had a look at Roku & Amazon fire & not convinced by them. I also want Ethernet connection.

XBMC runs more stable on a Raspberry Pi than on Android. The new Raspberry Pi 2 is a big improvement as well.

If you have a half decent phone or tablet it will probably run on that as well. Try it out before you buy anything.

Cheers mate, totally forgot I had a Pi. Just in the process of setting it up again. Been unused for about 3 years. I have got it set up with my cloud, is it worth upgrading to this Kodi?
